Senior IT Architect (Senior Data Scientist)

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.

• Develop processes and tools to monitor and Analyze model performance and data accuracy.

• Use software design principles to Develop production ready code.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and deliverables.

• Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and validate models.

• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning techniques.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Strong understanding of ML algorithms and techniques: supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning. Good knowledge in Time Series Analysis and NLP.

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python. Must be an expert in writing ML code.

• Working experience with full-stack web development (Flask, Panel).

• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and Spark.

• Hands-on experience in state-of-the-art ML and DL as applied to large-scale datasets.

• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks and libraries (PyTorch, Scikit-learn, NLTK).

• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques. Strong Math background.

• Solid understanding of feature engineering and model evaluation techniques.

• Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS).

• Hands-on experience with data orchestration tools and CI/CD (Github).

• Expert in deploying and monitoring ML models.

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
