Job Description:

Digital Copywriter is responsible for writing benefit-driven product copy for Medline.com catalog and other Medline websites within brand standards and in support of ecommerce strategies.

Some of the responsibilities are:

·      Under general guidance, write and edit product-related item descriptions for the web that conform to Medline standards

·      Edit existing product descriptions to improve content quality and correct errors

·      Match provided sources of data (spreadsheets, vendor downloads) to fill data gaps

·      Research manufacturer websites to find the technical properties as well as the key selling features and benefits of products

·      Ensure brand consistency with compelling written content that strengthens and maintains our brand’s voice across digital platform

·      Collaborate with marketing and product managers, to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience

·      Adhere to stringent deadlines to ensure smooth flow of projects; manage time and multiple projects efficiently to contribute to team goals

Skills / Experience / Qualifications

·      Experience with digital or catalog-based copy and product knowledge within the digital copywriting space

·      Experience working with cross-functional teams

·      Understanding of PIM-DAM (Product Information/Digital Asset Management) and/or data transformation/manipulation would be an added advantage

·      Must be able to work effectively both as a team member and independently

·      Good command over written/oral English

·      Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required

·      Highly driven and self-motivated personality required

·      Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

·      Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel; basic knowledge of Microsoft Access

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or English

Work Experience:

·        2-5 years of experience
