Medical Transcriptionist - Discharge Summary

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare discharge summaries for patients, ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical records.
  
• Review patient charts to gather necessary information for summary preparation.
  
• Verify medications, allergies, test results, and other relevant data before drafting the summary.
  
• Include critical details such as diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions in the summary.
  
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any unclear or incomplete information.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 4-6 years of experience in Medical Transcription (MT) with a focus on Discharge Summaries.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Any Specialization (B.A).
  
• Diploma in Other Specialization (e.g., Medical Scribe Training).
  
• Strong understanding of billing processes related to healthcare services.
