Telemedicine Medical Consultant

• Directly report to the Clinical Director-Programs and work in liaison with the Director of Programs & field staff of the concerned project.
  
• Provide teleconsultations on daily basis to the people of adopted villages in the tribal area of Nashik district.
  
• Conduct on-field observation of the community health workers (CHWs) to identify areas of improvement.
  
• Develop, review and update the training material, clinical guidelines for the health workers to suit the needs of the telemedicine services. Develop curriculum, cases and role plays for the training.
  
• Assess the knowledge and skills of the health workers, based on the day-to-day telemedicine interactions and provide training at periodic intervals.
  
• Organize and deliver virtual & In-Person training sessions. Conduct In-Person induction training as needed and the In-Person refresher training in the field by visiting the field locations on a monthly basis or as needed.
  
• Support in liaison with local Govt and private healthcare facilities for collaborations & referral linkages.
  
• Participate in innovative and research activities for the evaluation of the new clinical processes & new interventions in the project.
  
• Support the clinical quality assurance and improvement interventions.Assist the Clinical Director-Programs & Director of Programs to implement continuous quality improvement in the program.
  
• Any other medical work develops in negotiating with partners/community, existing and future.

Qualifications: MBBS is essential. Diploma/DNB/MD in clinical specialities is advantageous.
