Medical Billing Executive (Eligibility)

Role & responsibilities

• Benefits verification through phone calls and websites such as: Medicare, UHC, Cigna, HealthSun, etc.
• Request and organize medical documents through various channels, including fax and electronic platforms, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality and uploading them to the doctors system.
• Reach out our SLA goal of the scheduled appointments.
• Consistently meet daily and monthly targets for document management, demonstrating efficiency and attention to detail in handling medical records.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong Proficiency in ICD-10 and CPT and Medical Procedures.
• General Knowledge of Medical Billing and revenue cycle processes and documentation standards.
• Previous experience on EBS, CureMD, eClinical, eMedical, Tebra and Modmed.
• Previous experience managing insurance websites such as: Availity, Medicare, Sunshine, Healthsun, Cigna, etc.
• Experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.
