Technical Lead / Senior Technical Lead

- Reports To Principal Architect - Role will grow into Lead Architect

Job Overview :

A Technical lead will be responsible for the development, leading, overseeing and implementation of projects; providing guidance and direction to developers. Collaborate with teams to ensure timely delivery of projects. They must possess strong technical expertise and leadership skills.

Responsibilities :

- Oversee the technical planning, development, and execution of projects while ensuring that coding and architectural standards are followed.

- Offer developers technical mentoring and guidance, including code reviews and performance evaluations.

- Work collaboratively to define the project's requirements, scope, and deliverables with project managers and stakeholders.

- Estimate project timelines to achieve project objectives.

- Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.

- Act as a point of escalation for technical issues and provide timely resolutions or recommendations.

- Conduct regular meetings and status updates to keep the team and stakeholders informed about project progress.

- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process of new team members, ensuring the right skill set and cultural fit.

Skills :

- Strong technical expertise in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and tools related to the project domain.

- Coding knowledge on React and/or Node JS and should be able to code and implement features necessary for the product using ReactJS or/and Node JS.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems and provide innovative solutions.

- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality results within time constraints.

- Promote and foster collaboration and engagement with all team members, mentoring and coaching team members.

Education and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in technology

- 8 + years of experience in leading and delivering complex technical projects
