MBSK & Co - Specialist - Accounting & GST (3-4 yrs)

- MBSK & Co. , a leading chartered accounting firm, is seeking an Accountant and GST Specialist to join their team.

- This is a full-time, on-site position where the candidate will manage accounting operations, GST compliance, and financial reporting.

- Candidates with experience in a CA, law, or consulting firm will be preferred, especially those with a strong background in tax compliance, financial statement preparation, and general accounting.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Day-to-Day Accounting: Oversee daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and payroll processing reviews.

- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.

- GST Compliance: Manage GST filings, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and oversee TDS compliance.

- Tax Returns: Assist with income tax returns and support the financial year closing process.

- Management Reporting: Generate reports for management and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

- Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices in accounting processes.

- Collaboration: Liaise with cross-functional teams to provide support in accounting and tax-related matters.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3+ years of recent experience in a CA, law, or consulting firm.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement preparation, and analysis.

- Expertise in GST and TDS compliance and familiarity with income tax regulations.

- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office suite (Excel, Word).

- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client and internal team collaboration.

- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Prior experience in an accounting and consulting firm is essential
