We are looking for a dynamic and organized Human Resource Specialist to join our team. The Human Resource Specialist will be responsible for managing high-volume recruitment efforts, ensuring the timely and efficient hiring of qualified candidates to meet our organization s staffing needs. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
*Responsibilities:*
1. Collaborate with hiring managers and HR team to understand staffing requirements and timelines for bulk hiring needs.
2. Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract a large pool of qualified candidates.
3. Utilize various sourcing methods, including online job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to identify potential candidates.
4. Review resumes and applications, screen candidates, and conduct initial phone interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
5. Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates, ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process.
6. Manage communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback as needed.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
8. Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks, drug screenings, and other assessments.
9. Work closely with HR team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant employment laws and regulations.
10. Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment progress to hiring managers and HR leadership.
*Requirements:*
1. Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in high-volume or bulk recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
3. Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.
5. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
6. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
8. Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
9. Strong organizational and time management skills.
10. Experience working with diverse candidate pools and promoting diversity and inclusion in recruitment efforts.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
1. Professional certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
2. Experience with campus recruitment or hiring events.
3. Experience working in industries with seasonal or fluctuating staffing needs.
