Patent Analyst

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in patent searches and landscape studies. The ideal candidate should have expertise in various free patent and non-patent literature (NPL) databases, and at least two major patent databases. The individual will independently handle patentability, invalidation, and Freedom to Operate (FTO) searches and will be responsible for training and reviewing junior analysts' work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct patentability, invalidation, and FTO searches independently.
• Perform landscape studies from start to finish, including search string formulation and report generation.
• Train and review the work of junior analysts, providing guidance and ensuring quality standards.
• Stay updated with the latest tools and trends in patent research.
• Analyze and interpret patent and non-patent literature data to generate meaningful insights.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Biotech, B.E./M.E. in Biotech, Mechanical, or related branches.

Experience:

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Intellectual Property (IP) research and patent searches.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of patent databases and NPL sources.
• At least 1 year of experience in the IP field.
• Proficiency with IT tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong technical and communication skills (both written and spoken).
