Machine Learning Engineer - Python/Hadoop (4-7 yrs)

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize machine learning models while collaborating with global teams to solve complex problems in cybersecurity and beyond.

Key Responsibilities :

Model Development : Design, implement, and deploy scalable machine learning models into production systems and APIs.

Optimization & Experimentation : Lead hypothesis testing and monitor model performance, making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams across India and the US, effectively communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Mentorship : Guide junior team members and contribute to the organization's continuous learning culture.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's or Master's in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

Experience :

- 4-7 years of hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning models.

- Experience with scalable machine learning systems in the cloud (excluding cloud-only deployment).

Technical Skills :

Programming :

- Proficient in Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Pandas); familiarity with Golang is a plus.

- Strong Git and collaborative workflow expertise.

Machine Learning Expertise :

- Experience with AI/ML models, including transformers, sequence models, and reinforcement learning.

- Knowledge of techniques like prompting, embedding models, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

Software Engineering :

- Proficient in data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.

- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD tools, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Data Management :

- Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL; knowledge of NoSQL databases is a plus.

Tools and Methodologies :

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and project management tools like Jira or Notion.

Soft Skills :

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

- High accountability and ownership mindset.

Must-Have Skills :

- Data Structures & Algorithms
