IT Project Manager

Job Description:

• Role Overview: Lead and manage the Quality Engineering efforts ensure the quality and reliability of software products/projects.
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement testing approaches, processes, and frameworks.
  • Design build automated testing framework leveraging BDD methodology
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product management, operations) to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings and provide updates
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and ensure their resolution.
  • Provide leadership and technical expertise within the QA team.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
  • Prepare and present reports and metrics to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Proven experience in managing/leading QA team.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes like shifting left, in-sprint test automation, CI/CD, mobile testing
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in test management software (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Rest Assured).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: ISTQB certification or equivalent.
• Experience: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Technical Skills : Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
