Job Description: AVP - APAC Sales


Position Overview:


Maxify Digital is seeking an experienced, results-driven Associate Vice President (AVP) of Sales for the APAC region. This leadership role is pivotal in driving sales strategy, acquiring new logos, expanding existing mid to large-sized client accounts, and establishing long-term growth in the travel, hospitality, aviation (including airlines and airports), and media & entertainment sectors. The AVP will be responsible for owning a $5 million P&L, maintaining a gross margin of 65-70%, and achieving an EBITDA target of 40-45%. This role is a high-impact, quota-carrying leadership position with a clear career path to a senior leadership role within 4-5 years.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Sales Leadership and Strategy:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the APAC region targeting travel, hospitality, aviation, and media & entertainment sectors.
  • Lead account planning, pipeline development, and revenue forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Delivery, Customer Success, Product, and Finance) to align on business goals.
  • Leverage Salesforce CRM and other technologies to drive sales process efficiency and visibility.
  • Establish regional sales goals and define the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, focusing on both hunting (new logos) and farming (existing accounts).

2. New Logo Acquisition:


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target verticals.
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers at potential client organizations.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, needs assessment, solution presentation, proposal development, negotiation, and closure.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual new logo acquisition targets.

3. Account Farming and Expansion:


  • Cultivate long-term relationships with existing clients to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to ensure high client satisfaction and renewal rates.
  • Drive growth within key accounts by positioning new Salesforce solutions and related technology services.

4. Financial and P&L Management:


  • Own a P&L of $5 million with accountability for revenue generation, profitability, and margin management.
  • Maintain a gross margin of 65-70% and EBITDA target of 40-45%.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the region.

5. Team Leadership and Development:


  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team across the APAC region.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and accountability structures.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and customer-centricity.
  • Develop succession plans and leadership development programs within the sales organization.

6. Market and Industry Engagement:


  • Represent Maxify Digital at industry events, conferences, and client meetings across the APAC region.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide thought leadership and industry insights to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 12-15 years of experience in technology sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the APAC market.
  • Proven track record in selling Salesforce solutions and other enterprise technologies.
  • Experience in travel, hospitality, aviation, and media & entertainment industries.
  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated success in managing P&L responsibilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel across the APAC region as needed.
