Embedded Audio Software Engineer - Automotive Infotainment (3-5 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement audio use cases for our e-cockpit platform, including In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) and Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) systems.

- Experience with audio frameworks, routing, HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer), and audio kernel configurations is highly desirable.

- Prior experience working with Qualcomm (QCOM) SoCs, hardware bring up, device tree configuration, and TDM (Time Division Multiplexing) is a plus.

- Leverage your knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and audio amplifier principles to optimize sound quality within the system.

- Develop robust embedded software using C/C++ programming languages, adhering to best practices and coding standards.

- Familiarity with A2B (Audio Bus) protocols for inter-component communication is beneficial.

- Collaborate closely with hardware engineers and other software developers to ensure seamless integration of the audio system within the overall e-cockpit platform.

Qualifications :

- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in embedded software development with a strong focus on audio processing.

- In-depth understanding of automotive infotainment systems and related audio use cases (IVI, RSE).

- Solid knowledge of embedded system architectures, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and memory management concepts.

- Proficiency in embedded C/C++ programming and familiarity with audio frameworks and associated tools.

- Experience working with QCOM SoCs in an automotive context is a significant advantage (HW bring up, device tree, TDM).

- Understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) principles and related audio amplifier concepts is a plus.

- Familiarity with A2B protocols for automotive audio communication is beneficial.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
