Maveric Systems - Software Development Engineer - Test - Automation Testing (4-8 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop automated test scripts using Java.

- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to define and implement testing strategies.

- Utilize Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies to ensure robust and reliable code.

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.

- Ensure seamless integration and testing of microservices within the architecture.

- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.

- Perform code reviews and provide feedback to ensure testability and quality.

- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

- Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices for testing and automation.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role.

- Strong proficiency in Java programming language.

- In-depth knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles and practices.

- Experience with microservices frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber).

- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
