Data Engineer

Required : Data Engineer (Mini 2 of Experience)

Matrix Media Solutions has been hiring AI/ML and Data Engineers for our AI Lab. Our AI/ML team deliver professional services in building, design and set up the Machine learning platform. Our company is right fit for you if you love working on data/Data architect and Data Engineering. You will be working hand in hand with our AI/ML team. Job Requirement:

• 2+ years experience in data engineering technologies like spark, Databricks (preferred), AWSGlue, EMR, etc
• Must have worked previously in delivering big data engagements end to end.
• Strong programming expertise in python (preferred) or java in a data engineering context.
• Hands-on industry exposure in building data lakes and data warehousing solutions in the cloud using technologies/platforms like - AWS S3, Databricks Delta, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, etc
• Experience creating and maintaining various SQL queries, knowledge of databases and APIs/web services
• Experience building production-grade platform.
• Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, etc.) or equivalent practical experience
• Experience communicating and/or teaching technical concepts to non-technical and technical audiences alike
• Passion for collaboration, life-long learning, and driving business value through data and AI/ML
• Communicate with users to understand their needs and their domain knowledge.
• Experience working with git-based source control on a development team, Ability to travel at short notice.

Responsibility and Customer fronting work – You will :

• Build, scale and optimise. Identify areas of do/don'ts from a technical standpoint as guidance for customization inputs.
• Customer interfacing and Leading the requirement fitment/customization needs.
• Design and build data Ingestion and transformation (ETL) logic to drive Data lake and Datawarehouse initiatives.
• Design the data models in the data lake and data warehouse in an efficient manner from a performance standpoint.
• Lead Design, Development, and Testing of data pipelines and orchestration.
• Collaborating and working with our AI/ML and other data engineers in the team from a technical and functional standpoint drives successful delivery.
