Master DATA Analyst - GLIMS - Intertek - Mumbai

Role & responsibilities

• Requests for modifications or new analysis is generally supplied to this team with an Analysis Change Request (ACR).
• Read and understand documented procedures to create master data that meets the procedure
• Follow GLIMS guidelines to create new and modify existing GLIMS master data
• UAT for GLIMS analysis is called analysis fitness assessment (AFA).
• Run the Analysis Validation Form, fill in their portion of the form and assist the users in completing their portion of the form
• Train new and existing users for all master data
• Provide support for existing master data and other GLIMS processes and complete on-time within Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Provide any further master data, or any other configuration or system related support to the GLIMS team as necessary

Preferred candidate profile

• Can read, create and understand technical documents
• Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications and should be able to write complex formulas in Excel
• Functional laboratory business process knowledge strongly preferred
• Experience in the build/configuration of Thermo Fisher Sample Manager LIMS or similar LIMS is very strongly preferred
• Laboratory experience is a plus
• Previous LIMS experience is desired
