Job Description
- Perform vehicle level calibration and evaluation of HEV/EV system
- Plan execute long term validation of EV / HEVs
- Preparation of DoE, execution, analysis, and reporting
- Perform root-cause analysis of the issues encountered
- Implement countermeasures during development
- Performance Testing / benchmarking, and database creation
- Working with stakeholders within the organization and outside (suppliers, consultants) for above development
- Good knowledge of EV/HEV vehicle systems Powertrain engineering
- Good knowledge of high-level performance requirements of vehicles
- Exposure to Hybrid / Electric vehicle performance verification and Validation
- Prior experience in vehicle calibration tools such as INCA or equivalent is required
- Experience in vehicle testing on chassis dyno, on road and on test track
- Hands on experience on usage of Chassis Dyno, emission analyser system, for testing calibration of Electric and Hybrid electric vehicles for performance and energy efficiency
- Exposure to engine/vehicle calibration for FE, Emissions performance. This includes Fuel Economy/CO2, emission testing as per regulations and engineering standards
- Exposure to appropriate Regulations and Standards of HEV/EV such as AIS 038, AIS 039, AIS 040, AIS 102, AIS 048, AIS 137 etc.
