Manager Horticulture

Responsibilities

• Plan, design & implement large scape Roadside landscape.
• Able to understand drawings and work as per plan.
• Proficiency in upkeep of Plants, shrubs, ground cover, hedges in large open areas
• Knowledge of modern techniques of sapling, transplantation,
• Artistic approach to decorate roadside, retail & ground areas with theme garden, sculptures, hardscape.
• Knowledge about automated Drip Irrigation system, moisture sensors etc
• Able to draw sketches of concepts/theme of landscape & hardscape.
• Maintenance of Water bodies
• Experience in roadside Festive dcor, pattern with flowers, sculpture & artwork.
• Experience of cleanup of shrubs & bushes.
• Experience in development & maintenance of Nursery.
• Experience in Composting and Waste disposal mechanism.
• Take regular rounds of roads & guide ground staff.
• Interaction with client to understand requirement & update progress.
• Team Manager to supervise work & give directions to Supervisor & Grounds staff.
• Preparation of BOQs, arranging samples & coordination with suppliers.
• Coordination with Procurement & Finance team to ensure monthly spend is within allocated budget.
• Preparation of management reports highlighting key initiatives and work progress.

Preferred candidate profile :-

• MSC/BSC Horticulture.
• 8 to 10 years work experience in hotel horticulture set up, public roads horticulture, gardens maintenance, or has work in landscape maintenance of large residential developments.
