Project Coordinator

Role & responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with site / project team in planning, execution and completion of project.
• Lead the project by ensuring active participation in all project activities for on time, within scope and budget completion.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding Architectural drawings, structural drawings, Standard drawings, Project Specification drawings & prepare markup drawings for easy to understand.
• Coordinate with architect, structural engineer for correction, verification if any.
• Maintain drawing logs and oversee issuance of GFCs (Good for Construction documents)
• Structural and Architectural Detailing experience.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination with all stakeholders such as site team, contractors, clients and external stakeholders.
• Ensure all projects are well documented for planning and tracking.
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate meetings, updates, and reports.
• Coordinate with legal ensuring all documents such as contracts, permits and plans are in order.
• Continuously monitor projects for budget, material and cost ensuring cost effective project delivery.
• Support purchase to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Be a central hub for all internal and external stakeholders ensuring all parties are up-to-date on project status and changes.
• Keep management updated by tracking every project on timelines, project risk, and suggest mitigation strategy for delay and cost burden.

• Should have handled multiple projects simultaneously in a very fast-paced, construction-driven environment.
• Ability to work well with a team and work well alone, depending on the task.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work to a schedule and achieve timelines.
• Problem solving/analysis.
