Client Lead | Catastrophe Modelling

A catastrophe modeling job involves analyzing and assessing the potential impact of catastrophic events (e.g., natural disasters like earthquakes, floods, hurricanes) on assets, infrastructure, and populations. The role typically includes developing, refining, and applying mathematical models to predict and evaluate risks, helping companies (such as insurers or government agencies) prepare for and mitigate the financial impact of such events. Responsibilities may also include data analysis, scenario testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform risk management strategies. Proficiency in data science, programming, and a strong understanding of geophysical or environmental factors are often required.

• 6 to 10 Years experience
• Hands on experience on AIR (Touchstone / TS Re and CATRADER) software
• Experience in CAT Modeling Industry
• Should understand & interpret CAT Modeling losses.
• Understanding of policy structure (layers, limits, deductibles) and how it works in insurance industry
• Insurance & Re-insurance Subject, Underwriting concepts
• Experience in Open Market & Binder account processing & auditing
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL & Analytical skills
• Responsible for managing, motivating and leading team
• Communication with HYD team and teams in Boston & London
• Experience in Open Market & Binder account processing & auditing
• People Management and Attention to detail and superior communication skills
• Writing Macro s using VB, .NET, C Sharp, R, Python scripts.
