Performs as a specialist in Intellectual Property Law, with particular attention to government data rights issues.
Advise management on IP issues, including complex issues of significant financial and legal risk to the company.
Performs independent research, analysis and business partner counseling on complex and/or important issues.
Manages and preparation and prosecution of patents, trademarks, copyright, etc
Advises on patent infringement risks and IP aspects of contracts of all kinds. Applicant must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent Trademark Office and have at least 3 years of practice before that office.
Have been active knowledge intellectual property law as an attorney continuously for those years, and have extensive experience advising on IP FAR and DFAR issues in a government-contracting environment.
Position desires hands-on experience in prosecuting IP, in licensing of intellectual property, and counseling business partners in government contracting concerns.
Preference will be given to applicants who have materially supported mergers and acquisitions from an IP perspective and have substantively participated in major patent infringement lawsuits.
