Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and ensure compliance with EHS guidelines and legal requirements for the road widening project.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to EHS practices and standards.
Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials as per regulations.
Identify potential risks to health, safety, and the environment on-site.
Develop risk assessments and safety protocols to minimize accidents and hazards.
Implement preventive measures and safety systems to address identified risks.
Ensure that safety equipment is used correctly by workers and that they are aware of emergency procedures.
Investigate and document any accidents, near misses, or safety breaches.
Report accidents and incidents to the relevant authorities and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Carry out regular safety audits, workplace inspections, and safety drills.
Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene on-site, especially in high-risk zones.
Monitor and mitigate the environmental impact of the construction process (e.g., air pollution, water contamination, noise levels).
Ensure proper management of waste disposal and recycling processes.
Maintain accurate EHS records, reports, and certifications.
Prepare periodic EHS reports for project management and stakeholders.
Coordinate with local authorities, environmental agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Liaise with external auditors and inspections bodies when required.
Conduct training sessions and awareness programs on EHS standards for all workers and staff.

Qualification:
Diploma/Degree in Environmental Science, Bachelor s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Occupational Health Safety, or a related field.
Eligibility:
Minimum 4 years of experience as an EHS Officer or similar role in construction, infrastructure, or road projects. OR Minimum 2 years of experience as an EHS Officer in road widening or improvement projects.
Residence: Candidate residing near Kalyan will be given preference
