Job Description

Duties And Responsibilities:

Teaching: Delivering lectures and lessons, preparing course materials, and evaluating students performance through exams, assignments, and other assessments

Research: Conducting original research, publishing academic articles and books, and presenting their findings at conferences

Mentoring: Advising students and serving as role models to assist in directing their professional and academic development

Service: Participating in departmental and institutional activities, serving on committees, and helping in recruitment and mentoring new faculty members

Professional Development: Expanding professional development, going to conferences and workshops, and collaborating with peers to advance their research and teaching objectives

Skills and Qualifications:

M. Design in Product Design or Equivalent
The ability to teach and mentor students effectively
The ability to inspire and engage students in their subject matter
The ability to adapt to changing academic and technological environments
Strong research skills and a track record of publication
Product Design Faculty should additionally know software: Fusion, Solidworks, Keyshot, Illustrator / Sketchbook / Corel Draw. Expertise in Prototyping /Model-making / CMF for Product Design.

Education and Training Requirements:

M. Design in Product Design
Assistant Professors may participate in continuing education and professional development courses to stay current in their field and enhance their teaching skills.
Along with the development of teacher s skills, further studies to advance the knowledge of technological integration, diversity, equity, and inclusion may be necessary or highly valued.

No work life balance, if you want to become robot with no time to charge and work till you die, welcome to Manav Rachna.

Dislikes

MRU is a Pathetic place to work. VC and other seniors are bully and will never respect your time. And dare you take leaves, they will make you cry for months even if you took 2 days leave. Serving notice now, they don't deserve humans, robots will suit better there.
