Position: Sr. Manager/Manager-Mechanical

Objective / Purpose of the job: Responsible for successful development, engineering, planning, installation, erection, testing and commissioning of all Mechanical Equipment (mainly HVAC/ventilation/piping &layout/fire system/rotating equipment etc) and Works

Key Activities / Accountabilities

• To organize and lead participation in design & engineering kick off meeting, review meetings with package vendors, MBOP vendor, BTG vendor for smooth engineering completion
• Mechanical engineering including develop the design document/drawing, coordination, review/approval of the consultant’s/vendor’s drawings
• Review/ preparation of specification, various layouts, sizing of pump, organizing the meeting with consultant/vendors to ensure approval of documents as per schedule
• Engineering for proper integration of various mechanical packages (mainly HVAC/ventilation/piping &layout/fire system/rotating equipment etc)
• Engineering & finalization of piping & layouts
• Regular monitoring of engineering activities schedule for smooth execution of construction activities at sites
• Coordination with Purchaser/Purchaser consultant and to provide/resolve their queries
• Coordination with subcontractors for execution of the project as per design and to ensure timely execution of the activity at site
• Planning, design, field engineering services, contract management and site support during erection, testing, commissioning Thermal Power Plant/Waste to Energy power plant.
• Inspecting Mechanical equipment & material like pump, fan etc.

Candidate profile:

• Strong EPC side project management and implementation skills. Domain expertise in engineering, planning & scheduling execution, monitoring site progress, cost control, resource planning and utilization
• Experience in handling local level permissions/licenses for land, environment, will be desirable

Essential Educational: B.E. / B. Tech - Mechanical

Minimum Experience: 10+ years
