POSITION SUMMARY

Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to identify process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions

Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies to enhance production capabilities and reduce costs.

Training & Support: Provide technical support and training to production staff to ensure proper implementation and operation of new processes and technologies.

Capacity and Layout planning

Lean Manufacturing: Apply lean principles and methodologies to streamline processes and reduce costs.

Work Measurement: Conduct time studies and work measurement analyses to establish performance standards and identify opportunities for productivity enhancement.

Manufacturing Setup Design & Development

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere to established manufacturing procedures and provide direct support for plant-to-plant product transfers and new product development programs.
• Support Vertiv manufacturing operations using standard processes, equipment, and manufacturing methods.
• Identify and justify Advance Manufacturing key processes and equipment.
• Provide support for manufactured cost analyses of new and existing products.
• Assist in the development and release of standardized manufacturing documentation such as workmanship standards, work instructions, drawings, and BOMs.
• Implement best manufacturing practices for existing processes and provide multi-site manufacturing engineering support.
• Oversee the development and execution of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects for Vertiv manufacturing facilities.
• Research and lead new manufacturing technologies and practices.
• Coordinate cross-plant problem-solving teams to improve operating performance and meet business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum

Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical / Electronics) . Total 8+ years total manufacturing experience

• Preferred

MBA Operations . 5+ years manufacturing experience or 3+ years Advanced Manufacturing Engineering experience

Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma formal training or certifications
