Manager- SAP

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. SAP System Management:

• SAP Implementation & Support:
• Lead and manage SAP implementations, upgrades and enhancements, ensuring they meet business requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day management of SAP systems (SAP ECC, Connectivity to other applications etc.), ensuring high system availability, reliability and performance.
• Coordinate with SAP functional and technical teams for on-going support and optimization of SAP solutions.
• Customization & Optimization:
• Customize and optimize SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SD, FICO, PP) to improve business processes and enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure SAP aligns with evolving business needs and processes.
• System Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Performance:
• Monitor system health, performance, and user activity within SAP, ensuring issues are identified and addressed proactively.
• Provide high-level troubleshooting for complex SAP issues and work with SAP support and vendors to resolve critical incidents.
• Oversee SAP system performance, including response times, availability, and resource usage, and take corrective action when needed.

2. Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

• Work with third-party vendors for SAP support services.
• Manage relationships with external service providers to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met

3. Reporting & Documentation:

• Provide regular status updates to senior leadership on the performance of SAP systems.
• Maintain detailed documentation on SAP configurations, security measures, and disaster recovery plans.

DESIRED SKILLS

• SAP certification & relevant IT certifications preferred.
• Strong technical experience and knowledge of SAP systems MM and SD.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to solving complex technical problems.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices in SAP.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to work on diverse projects / areas.
• Strategic thinker with a focus on both operational efficiency and business alignment.
