Manager - TAX & GST

We are currently looking for TAX Manager with strong hands on experience into - Income TAX and GST .

Roles and Responsibilities of a Tax Manager

1. Tax Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with tax laws and regulations; prepare and file accurate tax returns.
2. Tax Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies to minimize liabilities; advise on the tax impact of corporate strategies.
3. Tax Reporting: Oversee the preparation of tax provisions and financial statements; review and approve tax-related documents.
4. Audit and Assessment: Manage tax audits conducted by tax authorities; provide documentation during audits.
5. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential tax risks; stay updated on tax law changes.
6. Advisory Role: Provide tax advice to departments; conduct tax research for decision-making.
7. Team Management: Lead and mentor tax professionals; ensure team development.
8. Collaboration: Work with finance, accounting, and legal departments; coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Master's Degree (optional but beneficial): A Master's in Taxation, Accounting, or an MBA with a focus on Tax.
• Professional Certifications:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Certified Taxation Specialist (CTS).
• Work Experience: 3 to 4 years of experience in tax-related roles, progressively taking on more responsibility.
