Manager - Substation Layout Design

To plan and independently design of electrical substation layouts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Role & responsibilities

• To plan and design the layout for AIS & GIS 220/400/765KV substations.
• To optimize the placement of equipments like transformers, circuit breakers, transmission gantries etc. to ensure efficient use of space and materials.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Perform and oversee calculations for equipment spacing, grounding, lightning protection, and cable routing.
• Conduct design reviews, resolve technical challenges, and implement quality control measures and adhere to safety standards.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or relevant field. Master’s degree will be preferred.
• Minimum 10-15 Years of experience in substation layout design with demonstrated leadership roles.
• Proficiency in substation design tools.
• Strong understanding of high voltage substation equipment and systems
