Job Description

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a strong background in application performance monitoring and cloud technologies. This role involves leveraging advanced tools and platforms to ensure the optimal performance of enterprise applications and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Over 12 years of experience with application performance monitoring tools such as New Relic, DataDog, and Dynatrace.
• At least 5 years of expertise in NRQL (New Relic Query Language).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of AWS and Azure services.
• Strong expertise in designing, planning, and maintaining applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Nginx, Linux, and monitoring tools like New Relic and DataDog.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in enterprise monitoring, including APM, synthetic monitoring, browser monitoring, and log monitoring.
• Experience in gathering requirements and implementing monitoring and observability solutions.
• Collaborate with business and development teams to define and deploy monitoring solutions.
• Generate health and performance reports, develop AIOps rules, create alerts, and build custom dashboards.
• Integration experience with tools like ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Slack, webhooks, and JIRA.
• Expertise in workload creation and user onboarding processes.
• Provide operational support for enterprise monitoring tools such as New Relic and SolarWinds.
• Assist application support teams in developing and deploying effective monitoring profiles.
• Adapt quickly to new monitoring tools and platforms.

Qualifications

• IT certification (e.g., ITIL) is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and chart creation.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.

Technical Skills

• NRQL and Dashboarding: Expertise in GraphQL API, NRQL builder, chart creation, dashboarding, PromQL, and data export using NRQL.
• APM Monitoring: In-depth experience with Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby, Python, Go, C SDK, Node.js monitoring, APM transactions, and logs.
• Alerts & AI: Skilled in alert policy creation, anomaly detection, muting rules, workflows, events, and incident management.
• Mobile App Monitoring: Proficient in monitoring Android, iOS, Cordova, and React Native apps, including crash analysis, transaction logs, and dashboard creation.
• Browser Monitoring: Experienced in page view tracking, Ajax requests, session performance analysis, JavaScript error monitoring, and real-user monitoring (RUM).
• Scripting and Coding: Proficient in Python, JavaScript, and Terraform for automation and monitoring customizations.
