Role & responsibilities

1. Developing and Implementing Policies: Create comprehensive policies addressing environmental, health, safety, security, and sustainability standards.

2. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and environmental impacts.

3. Compliance Management: Monitor and ensure compliance with local, national, and international EHS regulations.

4. Training and Awareness: Implement training programs to educate employees on safety protocols, environmental practices, and security measures.

5. Emergency Preparedness and Response: Develop and test emergency response plans for various scenarios.

6. Environmental Management: Oversee initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of operations.

7. Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents related to health, safety, security, or environmental breaches.

8. Supplier and Contractor Oversight: Evaluate the EHS practices of suppliers and contractors.

9. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, environmental data, and security measures.

10. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in EHS and sustainability practices.

11. Stakeholder Engagement:

These responsibilities collectively contribute to creating a safe, secure, and sustainable work environment.

Preferred candidate profile

• Must be graduate in any stream.
• Advance diploma or degree in environment, health & safety.
• Certified physical security professional.
• Minimum 10 years of strong work experience in EHS & sustainability field.
• Must be having strong understanding on the EHS Management system.
• Must be having strong understanding on the ISO standards like ISO 9001:2015/14001:2015/45001:2018/14064:2018.
• Must be able to conduct internal EHS audit for the organization (Certified Internal Auditor for IMS Integrated Management System).
