Demand Planning Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and effective execution of the monthly S&OP process
• Demand Forecasting & Analysis
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Supply planning to fulfill demand plans
• Performance Measurement & Analysis
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives

Preferred candidate profile

• Lead the Organization S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process
• Prepare key Business Dashboards for reviewing end-to-end Planning with Management
• Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function based on business trends / demand patterns
• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
• Actively engage with Product Management on managing new products, and product phase-outs, taking into account inventory across the value chain •Drive and improve Forecast Accuracy across forecasting horizons
• Prepare Supply Plan in collaboration with Manufacturing to fulfill Demand Plans and ensure Availability across skus at all times
• Analyze and troubleshoot Demand / Supply related issues in a timely and accurate manner

Ideal Candidate

• Strong interpersonal & Analytical skills

• Working knowledge of Forecasting techniques / models
• Basic understanding of Supply Chain principles
• Minimum 2 years experience in Demand Planning / Supply Planning / Spare Parts Planning
• APICS certification preferable
