Data Engineer

Role & responsibilities:

As a junior Data Analyst you manage the data architecture for data ingestion, data processing in a ready-to-use state, and develop analytics models/algorithms for engineering use case in alignment with the engineering stakeholders. You are responsible for the implementation of the given IT governance guidelines.

You closely collaborate with other Data Scientists, Data Engineers and other roles in the use case development.

Task

• Experience in creating cloud data solutions
• Create and operate data pipeline architecture for data ingestion, pipeline setup and data curation
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements
• Implement the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, Pyspark and AWS big data-technologies
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
• Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences and other business outcomes.
• Develop processes and analytics tools that use the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and monitoring model performance, data accuracy and other key business performance metrics

General Requirements

• 2- 3 years of experience as a data engineer, Data Scientist or Data analyst, preferably in the automotive sector
• Degree in Computer Science (or similar), alternatively well-founded professional experience in the desired field
• Business fluent in English (at least C1)
• Good communication and presentation skills

Good knowledge:

• ETL
• Data Warehouse, RDS, Lake architectures
• SQL, Python, Spark/Pyspark and object-oriented programming; Code documentation
• AWS: S3, Athena, Lambda, Glue, IAM, SQS, EC2, Quicksight and etc.
• Git
• Data Analysis & Visualization
