Software Engineer - MCAL Development

Job Summary :

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with 4-7 years of experience in embedded system software development and validation to join our team in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of C, assembly languages, and software development life cycles, along with a solid foundation in microcontroller architecture and real-time systems.

Your expertise in standards such as AUTOSAR, IEC61508, and ISO26262 will be a valuable asset in ensuring the quality and reliability of our MCAL software.

Key Responsibilities :

- Software Development : Design, develop, and maintain MCAL software components using C and assembly languages.

- Validation Testing : Conduct comprehensive testing of MCAL software to ensure compliance with functional, performance, and safety requirements.

- Standards Adherence : Adhere to industry standards such as AUTOSAR, IEC61508, and ISO26262.

- Toolchain Expertise : Proficient in using development toolchains like GNU, Tasking, and WINDRIVER.

- Debugging : Utilize debuggers such as PLS and Lauterbach to identify and resolve software issues.

- Lab Equipment : Demonstrate proficiency in using standard lab equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power benches.

- Team Collaboration : Work effectively in a collaborative team environment, contributing to project goals and sharing knowledge.

Required Qualifications :

- Experience : 4-7 years of experience in embedded system software development and validation.

- Programming Languages : Proficiency in C and assembly languages.

- Microcontroller Architecture : Strong understanding of 16/32-bit microcontroller architecture and real-time systems.

- Software Development Life Cycle : Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC).

- Development Tools : Experience with development toolchains like GNU, Tasking, and WINDRIVER.

- Debugging : Proficiency in using debuggers such as PLS and Lauterbach.

- Lab Equipment : Knowledge of standard lab equipment and their applications.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Standards : Experience with industry standards such as AUTOSAR, IEC61508, and ISO26262.

- Safety-Critical Systems : Familiarity with safety-critical systems and their requirements.

- Embedded Systems : Deep understanding of embedded systems and their challenges.
