About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products for the automotive industry. You will play a critical role in planning, executing, and monitoring SQA activities throughout the software development lifecycle.Main TasksSQA Planning :

- Develop and execute SQA plans aligned with project timelines and objectives.

- Establish performance metrics and quality standards.Stakeholder Engagement :

- Collaborate with software project managers, component owners, developers, testers, process leads, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.Review and Evaluation :

- Conduct thorough reviews of software work products and deliverables, both internally developed and externally sourced.Supplier Collaboration :

- Support ECU owners in joint reviews with suppliers to assess software quality and compliance.Quality Assurance :

- Track deliverables, monitor software quality metrics, and identify and address gaps or defects.Risk Management :

- Identify and prioritize risks in the software development process, taking appropriate mitigation measures.Defect Management :

- Manage and coordinate defect correction activities, ensuring timely resolution.Deviation Management :

- Raise, manage, and track deviations from quality standards or processes.Reporting :

- Generate comprehensive quality reports to provide insights into software quality and progress.Secondary TasksProcess Implementation :

- Support the rollout of the Polestar Embedded Software Development Process, following guidelines from the process team.Process Improvement :

- Conduct process reviews and internal audits to identify areas for improvement in the embedded software development process.Candidate Requirements :Automotive Industry Experience :

- Proven experience in software development projects within the automotive industry.Quality Standards :

- Strong knowledge of quality standards and process models such as Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434, and IATF 16949.Communication Skills :

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
