Scada Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Studying RFQs for SCADA/Monitoring solutions, answering clients technical queries.

Preparing IO lists, Bill of Material for communication box, Cabling and Wiring schedules, Communication architecture preparation

Factory acceptance tests at vendor’s facilities, Modbus mapping and settings for device communication in field, OPC UA/DA configuration, data logger’s configuration, data validation, site execution and commissioning (SCADA)

Coordination with vendors and clients for SCADA communication setup and issues resolutions.

Configuration and deployment of monitoring/analytics/CMMS for Renewable (Solar and Wind)/Energy storage projects through configuration utility.

Configuration monitoring pages and dashboards on the Integrated Web Application (SaaS platform).

Ensuring Data availability and Data quality of all projects. Implementation of tools, automation to ensure both.

Creating a knowledge base and regular update for learnings to share with team.

Analyzing and troubleshooting SCADA related issues and provide RCA and insights to team to avoid reoccurrences.

Assess and suggest changes for the existing systems and processes for optimization.

Proficient in Modbus, FTP, OPC UA/DA for data access.
