2D Designer (AutoCAD, SketchUp) -Modular Kitchen Designer

Role & responsibilities

• Create and develop 2D designs, floor plans, and technical drawings for modular kitchens using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
• Design modular kitchen layouts with an emphasis on space optimization, functionality, and aesthetics.
• Prepare accurate technical drawings, including cabinetry, countertops, electrical, and plumbing layouts.
• Work closely with production teams and vendors to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Provide design presentations and concepts to clients for approval.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, material specifications, and ergonomic principles.
• Revise and update drawings as per client feedback and project changes.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in kitchen design, materials, and technologies.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on design specifications.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and SketchUp for interior design and drafting purposes.
• Strong knowledge of modular kitchen layouts, materials, fittings, and appliances.
• Experience in space planning and ergonomic design principles.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret client requirements and deliver creative design solutions.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of various materials such as wood, laminates, hardware fittings, and finishes used in modular kitchens.
