Job Description
- Complete documentation of import consignments.
- Coordination with shippers, CHA, freight forwarders, ICD for clearance and movement of cargo.
- Liasoning with customs for assessment and clearance related work.
- Communicate with shippers/customers for scheduling of shipments and related documentation work.
- To receive offers from suppliers and negotiate for price, terms of payment, delivery schedule.
- To prepare a purchase order for import of particular raw material and ensure that all terms and conditions required for such import are incorporated in the purchase order.
- Receive indent/proforma invoice from supplier and study the same for suppliers agreement to our purchase order terms and complete indent acceptance formalities.
- Formalities / Documentation related LC, PC.
