Job Description

Preferred candidate: The ideal candidate should be from OIL and GAS INDUSTRY and from Engineering background.

Proficient in the regional language, with fluency in English, Hindi and Gujarati being highly preferred.


Education: BE Mechanical, Diploma in Mechanical, MBA (Marketing)


Remote/Hybrid Work: Remote or hybrid work options are available based on the work requirements.


Role & responsibilities

  • Responsible for Sales/ Business Development for Oil & Gas Business.
  • Conduct site visits to understand customer requirements and provide solutions for their industrial equipment needs.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead in the competitive industrial equipment industry.
  • Setting up and carrying out strategic sales initiatives to meet organizational goals.
  • Responsible for established norms for customer service/retention.
  • Responsible for obtaining competitor sales/ other marketing intelligence data in pursuance of better business opportunities for all inline business verticals.
  • Conduct field visit and market the services provided by the organization.
  • Monitor sales metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Preserve good connections with key customers and stakeholders to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Tender Specialist and Cliental support to align sales strategies with overall corporate goals.
  • Keep up with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to spot growth opportunities.
  • Provide top management with regular sales reports and presentations that highlight accomplishments, challenges, and possibilities.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Min. 3 years or more experience (For Diploma Holders Min.4 years or more of experience)
  • Customer focused approach
  • People Management skills
  • Communication skills including Presentation ability of new products/services to customers
  • Creative, Persistent, Problem solving attitude but key is ability to be honest and genuine in Customer negotiations
  • Action Oriented approach
  • Open to Mobility as required by the work demand. Extensive travel is required for this job role
