1. Magento Development:

Custom Development: Develop and implement custom features and functionality for Magento-based e-commerce websites, including extensions, modules, themes, and integrations.
Magento Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient Magento-based solutions. Architect complex systems and provide recommendations for optimal performance, scalability, and flexibility.
Theme Customization: Customize and develop Magento themes from scratch or modify existing themes to meet business requirements, ensuring that the frontend aligns with design specifications and provides a seamless user experience.
Magento Modules and Extensions: Build custom modules and integrate third-party extensions or APIs to enhance website functionality. Modify and extend existing modules to support custom business needs.

2. E-commerce Website Optimization:

Performance Optimization: Ensure the Magento site is fast, responsive, and optimized for performance. Implement caching, reduce page load times, and ensure seamless integration with CDN and other performance-enhancing technologies.

3. Magento Maintenance & Support:

5. Documentation & Reporting:

6. Quality Assurance & Testing:

Required Skills & Qualifications: 1. Technical Skills:

Magento Expertise: Proven experience with Magento 2 (Magento 1 experience is a plus), including module development, custom theme development, and extensions. In-depth understanding of the Magento platform and its architecture.
PHP: Strong proficiency in PHP, with an understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
Frontend Technologies: Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX. Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.
MySQL: Proficiency with MySQL database management, writing complex queries, and optimizing database performance.
Version Control: Proficient with version control systems, especially Git , for managing code and collaborating in teams.
Web Services & APIs: Experience in creating and consuming RESTful APIs, SOAP, and integrating third-party APIs for payment gateways, CRM, or ERP systems.
Magento Tools & Extensions: Experience with tools like Composer , Magento CLI , and integration with third-party APIs, including payment gateways, shipping solutions, etc.
Caching & Performance: Strong understanding of caching mechanisms (e.g., Varnish, Redis) and performance optimization techniques.

2. Experience:

E-commerce Development: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce web development, with a focus on Magento development and deployment.
Custom Development & Problem Solving: Proven ability to develop custom modules and solve complex technical problems.
Magento Certifications: Magento 2 Certification (either Developer or Solution Specialist) is highly desirable but not mandatory.
