Finishing Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Operational Management:
  
• Plan, organize, and monitor finishing operations to meet daily production targets.
• Ensure processes like pre-treatment, dyeing, washing, and coating are completed per standards.
• Manage equipment and resources to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Quality Assurance:
  
• Ensure products meet customer and company quality specifications.
• Implement quality control checks throughout the finishing process.
• Coordinate with the quality assurance team for inspections and certifications.
• Team Supervision:
  
• Lead, train, and supervise finishing staff to enhance performance.
• Assign tasks and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Process Optimization:
  
• Identify areas for efficiency improvement and recommend upgrades to machinery or methods.
• Stay updated with industry trends and implement best practices.
• Reporting and Documentation:
  
• Prepare production reports detailing output, efficiency, and quality.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, machine maintenance, and production schedules.
• Collaboration:
  
• Work closely with the design, dyeing, and marketing teams to understand and fulfill customer requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and servicing of finishing equipment.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 8+ years in textile finishing or production, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of finishing techniques, equipment, and quality standards in textiles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in the textile industry.
