Application Engineer - Machine Vision

We are looking for a Software and Debugging Engineer to work with COGNEX Insight 2800 / Keyence XG-X Series Machine Vision Systems. This role involves developing, testing, and troubleshooting software to ensure smooth operation of our machine vision systems.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for COGNEX Insight 2800 / Keyence XG-X Series systems.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues.
• Develop and implement vision inspection systems with PLC automation.
• Provide technical support for machine vision systems.
• Integrate systems with other automation solutions.
• Create, update and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals.
• Test and validate systems for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with teams to gather project requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to customers.
• Stay updated on automation and vision technology trends.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in automation industry.
• Experience with vision inspection systems and Knowledge of machine vision technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities.
• Good communication skills
