Job Description:

Ocean Operations Execution involves managing and operating vessels (owned, chartered, VSA) for transporting customer cargo or containers.

The professional stream focuses on applying technical knowledge rather than managing people, though responsibilities may include mentoring, informal supervision, or overseeing processes and programs.

Work ranges from setting individual objectives to being an expert influencing long-term organizational decisions. Progression reflects growing expertise, project management skills, and influence.

Professionals work independently within guidelines but require support for complex tasks, using practical methods and techniques to solve problems within their expertise.

Leadership at this level involves managing employees, setting priorities, and ensuring task completion, supported by prior experience or advanced education.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Effectively contribute to the development and execution of the Container Trace & Track activities/process in align of Cargo Operations
• Point of contact for Cargo operations for stakeholders spread across globe/geographies
• Co-ordinate performance management for week-to-week trace & track operations and other updates
• Explore new business improvement opportunities and ways to optimize operation processes
• Implement opportunities/changes toward process effectiveness and efficiency
• Represent Cargo Operational activities for various other forums such as Commercial, Finance and other support functions.
• Act as partners to Process experts and Specialists to guide for process performance and improvement

We are looking for:

• Candidate should be a Graduate with excellent communication, good interpersonal and people skills.
• Has at least 3-5 years of relevant operations/commercial experience involving front/back-end processing (preference will be given to but not limited to shipping and logistic industry)
• Candidate should be comfortable working in Rotational Shift including Night shift also Weekly off will be rotational.
• Proven and sustained track record of delivery, with focus on driving results and outcomes
• Self-starter and highly motivated individual who can work in a challenging environment
• Probes and identifies business needs along with stakeholder across verticals and provides solutions
• Listen actively and invites dialogue for exchanged opinions, then influences and acts to drive performance and achieve results
• Must have excellent English linguistic skill with strong speaking and writing ability
• Understanding and passion for shipping and logistic industry with customer centric mindset
• Understanding of how EDI works is plus on systems like AMPSEM, SEEBURGER
• Experience in commercial process like Dispute, DND, Vendor Management would be an advantage
• Process Improvement mindset and someone who understands big data & its analysis
