We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Annotation Specialist specializing in 2D, 3D, and LiDAR data. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development of autonomous driving systems and other computer vision applications by accurately annotating and labeling various types of sensor data. Your work will contribute directly to the training and validation of machine learning algorithms for object detection, localization, and tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
Annotate and label 2D images, 3D point clouds, and LiDAR data to identify and outline objects of interest such as vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, and road infrastructure.
Follow annotation guidelines and specifications to ensure consistency and accuracy across annotated datasets.
Work with a variety of annotation tools and software to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.
Verify and validate annotations to maintain high data quality and reliability.
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and researchers to understand annotation requirements and project objectives.
Provide feedback and suggestions for improving annotation tools, workflows, and processes.
Keep detailed records of annotation tasks, including documentation of annotation guidelines, specifications, and any issues encountered.
Stay updated on advances in computer vision and sensor technology relevant to annotation tasks.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of 2D and 3D geometry, spatial data , and coordinate systems.
Familiarity with LiDAR technology, point cloud processing, and sensor fusion techniques.
Proficiency in using annotation tools and software for 2D image annotation (e.g., bounding boxes, polygons), 3D point cloud annotation, and LiDAR annotation.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working with large datasets.
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Previous experience in data annotation, computer vision, or related fields is a plus.
