Software Test Engineer

Essential (must have) :

• A proven understanding of industry standard software development life cycle.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral - including ability to patiently listen/read and understand inputs from various stakeholders, communicate.
• Working Definition, Implementation and Execution of all testing areas related to the product.
• Experience in Manual Testing, Database Testing, API Testing is Must.
• End to end synchronized testing of Web Application and Mobile App (both android and iOS).
• Good hands on exposure with functional, regression, retesting and system testing.
• Demonstrable experience gained within financial services domain
• Follow the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified in the testing approach.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.

Add on Skills :

• Prior experience with a Finance or Payroll outsourcing company would be a big plus.
• Experience with any Requirements capturing tool would be nice to have.

Knowledge of Automation Tools (Selenium, Load Tester, JMeter etc.) would be a plus.

Responsibilities :

• Get involved in projects right from the inception stage.
• Understand the functional and non-functional requirements of the projects.
• Create Test cases for functional and non-functional testing and executing them.
• Manage Traceability matrix between requirements and test cases
• Reporting on test progress for different projects.
• Understanding of functional requirements both orally and through documents.
