Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with extensive experience in building scalable applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust backend systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring frameworks.
• Implement microservices architecture for enhanced scalability and maintainability.
• Integrate with messaging systems like Kafka for real-time data processing.
• Deploy applications using Kubernetes and ensure efficient container orchestration.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Document development processes, code changes, and API specifications.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Key Skills:

• Proficient in Java and related frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka).
• Knowledge of Node.js for backend development.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience in the banking or financial services domain, specifically in trading or foreign exchange (FX).
