EHS Manager

, Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement IMS / EHS policies at site.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards.
• Consent application regarding CTE/CCA
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and update EHS/Operation SOPs
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Facilitate continuous improvement in safety practices
• Lead Internal Audits and compliance activities.
• Ensure availability / maintenance of safety infrastructure and systems at site.
• Review Gensuite Applications Dashboards - inspections of safety equipment.
• Review / verification of Third-party Reports and further compliances.
• Review CTO / CGWA compliances and Legal Register for timely submissions of compliance reports (including Environment- Health Monitoring, WC-PLI policies)
• Review / verification of all factory forms like (28,29,31,32,33, etc..)
• Analyze EHS data and reports for trends and improvement
• Review of EHS Monthly Presentation with site.
• Review near miss incident / accident report with site EHS team and ask for log or update in Gensuite system.
• Mentor and train EHS Staff and Site Team for Good Safety Practices, Key document of IMS and Gensuite Applications.
• Monitor and ensure working of plant related control measures (Fire extinguishers, Detection system etc..) and in case of abnormality in readings get them calibrated
• Ensure the effective implementation of permit to work system at site.
• Review & Verification of Environment Monitoring Reports.
• Ensure the all the documents are review before submission to Pollution Control Board (Form 4, 5, Monthly, Quarterly Reports). And other legal bodies.
• Conduct site audit and share Finding for further improvements.
• Review Presentation (Safety Statistics, Safety Committee, Monthly EHS Performance).
• Monitor mock drill and Safety committee meeting are conducted as per schedule.
• Ensure that Presentation on Events is prepared and shared with corporate team.
• Monitoring and review of Gensuit Reports/Dash boards.
• Consent & Amendment application to the PCB.
• Support to PR team for liasioning require of regulatory bodies like DISH, PCB etc..
• CGWA Application and Its compliance.
• Award Application Follow Ups.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications : BE- Machinal, Environment, PGD in HSE/NEBOSH IGC

Experience : 8 to 10 year
