Position Overview:
As a Human Resource Executive in Retail Operations/Mall Operations, your primary responsibility will be to support the human resources functions within the retail operations or mall operations department. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the organization's human resources policies, procedures, and practices are effectively implemented and aligned with the overall business objectives. You will work closely with the management team and employees to promote a positive work environment and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Selection:
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
Source and attract qualified candidates through various channels (job portals, social media, referrals, etc.).
Conduct interviews, assess applicants' qualifications, and make recommendations for hiring decisions.
Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, documentation, and training.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employees' queries, concerns, and grievances, and provide guidance and support as necessary.
Assist in resolving employee conflicts and disciplinary issues, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
Promote employee engagement initiatives, such as employee recognition programs, team-building activities, and communication campaigns.
Monitor employee morale and job satisfaction, and propose strategies to enhance the work environment.
Performance Management:
Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
Support the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement plans, goal setting, and development opportunities.
Track and analyze employee performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs based on performance gaps and organizational requirements.
Coordinate and deliver training programs, workshops, and seminars for employees.
Support the development of training materials and resources.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits:
Administer and maintain accurate employee records, including personal information, attendance, leaves, and benefits enrolment.
Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs, such as payroll, insurance, and retirement plans.
Ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations regarding compensation and benefits.
HR Policies and Compliance:
Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
Stay updated on labour laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and advise management on necessary actions.
Qualifications and Skills:
Masters degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in human resources, preferably in the retail industry or mall operations.
Sound knowledge of employment laws, PF , ESI, regulations, and best practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite.
Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training is desirable.
Professional certifications in human resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
