Job Description
The IT Supply Chain IRP (Inventory Replenishment Planning) team focuses on optimizing inventory management and replenishment processes through technology-driven solutions. The team ensures seamless integration between supply chain systems, leveraging data analytics, automation, and enterprise applications to enhance forecasting, demand planning, and order fulfillment. By collaborating with business stakeholders, they improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and drive continuous improvements in supply chain workflows.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Implement and integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring performance optimization and security best practices.
- Work with messaging systems like Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and asynchronous processing.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures using PostgreSQL .
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, QA, and DevOps, to deliver robust and user-focused solutions.
- Ensure application quality and performance by writing efficient code, conducting unit testing, and participating in code reviews.
- Utilize Spring Cloud to build distributed, cloud-native applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to SLAs.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and implement best practices in software development.
Primary Skills:
- Proficiency in Spring Boot , Spring Cloud , and Microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka for real-time streaming and event-driven systems.
- Expertise in working with PostgreSQL , including schema design, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes .
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Secondary Skills:
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Knowledge of caching frameworks like Redis or Memcached.
- Familiarity with security best practices for APIs and cloud applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot , Spring Cloud , and Microservices architecture.
