Eyewear Designer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate Eyewear Designer to join our team and bring fresh, trendsetting ideas to life. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative eyewear collections that cater to both fashion-forward and functional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Concept Development: Research and analyze market trends, customer preferences, and materials to create unique and stylish eyewear designs.
• Sketching & Prototyping: Create hand-drawn sketches and digital renderings (using software like Rhino, AutoCAD, or Adobe Illustrator) to visualize new designs.
• Material Selection: Collaborate with suppliers to source premium materials, including acetate, titanium, and eco-friendly options.
• Frame Engineering: Work closely with manufacturers and engineers to ensure designs are ergonomic, durable, and production-friendly.
• Innovation & Functionality: Incorporate advanced lens technologies, flexible hinges, and lightweight structures to enhance user experience.
• Brand Alignment: Design collections that align with our brand identity and customer expectations.
• Collaboration: Work with marketing, retail, and production teams to ensure seamless product launch and market positioning.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Design, Fashion Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in eyewear design or accessories design.
• Strong proficiency in design software (Rhino, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Deep understanding of trends, materials, and ergonomics in eyewear.
• Ability to sketch designs and translate them into manufacturable products.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
