Job Description
- Lead the development of scalable and performant React-based web applications.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define product features and user requirements.
- Drive technical decision-making and architecture for front-end applications.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, providing support in debugging, code reviews, and design discussions.
- Develop reusable and efficient components and libraries.
- Ensure code quality by implementing standard processes for code structure, testing, and version control.
- Optimize applications for maximum performance across a wide variety of devices and browsers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development.
- Lead efforts to improve development workflows and enhance efficiency (e.g., through automation, continuous integration).
- Supply to the overall technical vision and strategy of the company s product.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user interfaces.
Primary Skills:
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end web development.
- Consistent record of leading development teams and delivering web applications at scale.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Good experience with React.js and related libraries (eg: Redux, React Router, etc)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Typescript, and modern web development tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
- Demonstrable experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
- Solid understanding of front-end performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with GitLab
- Knowledge of adaptable design principles and frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of front-end debugging using chrome dev tools.
- Knowledge of writing tests for front end code using framework like Karma, Jasmine etc.
- Experience in static code analysis tools like sonarcube, Blackduck, Semmgrep
- Experience with build & deploy using CI/CD
- Knowledge about MangoBD (good to have)
- Basic knowledge of Azure
